Greta Pope and Bane Djordjevic
On Friday night, April 17th, I had the pleasure of performing for The Diocese of Chicago & Mid America of the Russian Orthodox Church. The event was their annual Easter Ball. Orthodox Easter this year was on Sunday, April 12th and the Friday night event was a wonderful celebration.
It was an elegant evening, with beautifully appointed tables, handsome gentlemen and lovely ladies exquisitely dressed, and fantastic international music performed by

and the Bane Djordjevic Orchestra
The band consisted of American, Greta Pope on vocals, Bane (from Serbia) on piano, Sasha (from Serbia) on keyboard, Bogdan (from Poland) on violin, and Lello (from Sweden) on accordion. It was a magnificent fusion of culture and music. We performed songs from Russia, Greece, Romania, France, Spain, Poland, Serbia and of course…America!
