Dr. Greta Pope’s Music, Money & You Master Class…Being All You Can Be!
It was a pleasure presenting my Master Class to students and faculty at the University of Miami. This was very special for me because I received my Master of Music Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Ohio’s Miami University was founded in 1809, Miami’s name reflects the history of the Native American tribe that once inhabited the Miami Valley region of Ohio. Miami University maintains strong ties with the Miami Tribe, now located in Oklahoma.When telling people that I attended Miami University, people often say…”oh, the university in Florida!”
The University of Miami is located in Coral Gables, Florida and has a real commitment to Arts and Culture. The University of Miami has an outstanding music department and is world renowned in the area of Jazz. I am very proud to have now had an opportunity to be a part of both of these stellar universities. It feels great!
