I have had the pleasure of being a speaker at the Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization Conference in the past and am looking forward to speaking at the CEO Orlando conference on October 31 and November 1, 2014. This is a wonderful conference that brings college students together from across America to learn about forging successful careers in the fields of their choice. Of course, my presentation topics are in the area of Entertainment Business.
The 2014 National CEO Conference in conjunction with the University of Tampa will feature a talented young speaker named Ed Wimp. Ed has worked on the management team and traveled with the world-renowned R&B band Earth Wind and Fire. He has also worked on the management team for well-known rappers A$AP Rocky and Jonny Gooode. Ed Wimp will be speaking on Planning the Successful Concert Tour.
Concert tours are a great way of earning a living as a performer. Touring allows artists to build a following in different cities/countries and gives them a fresh audience for each performance. However there are potential pitfalls when planning a tour. There are many, many things to consider, the most important being a positive bottom line. Performing artists interested in learning about all aspects of touring should not miss this dynamic and informative presentation.
