What is Success?
There is no universal definition of success. As as result of our individual ideas, objectives, talents, skills and interests, we each have a different set of expectations when speaking of success.
In the process of organizing your Business Plan, it will be important to clearly identify your objectives. What is your goal? How will you know when you’ve reached it? What will define success?
It is sometimes difficult to recognize progress when we’re always looking forward to the end result. We are often so deeply entrenched in the work itself that we don’t lift our heads up and look around. We are not aware that we in fact, have made monumental strides.
Take time to enjoy the journey…to revel in the small successes. They are like building blocks, helping us to create a strong foundation and giving us encouragement for the day. Small successes provide the fuel that allows us to move forward with the courage that it takes to tackle the next big hurdle.
Define and celebrate your own successes. It doesn’t matter what popular thinking dictates. Be your own champion. Find the Joy in YOUR Journey!
